Photoresist films are becoming increasingly popular in the application of sandblasting decoration of glass and other materials due to their flexibility and high detail capability.
For most sandblast decorating we choose RapidMask photoresist film, the only photosensitive film that does not need a washing step.
However, if we want to use the photoresist films for more complex projects, we have to choose something in the washable photoresist films range.
Washout photoresist films have many advantages. They are suitable for a wide range of different sandblasting decorating techniques and retain the flexibility to be used on curved surfaces. Also, with the R series-photoresist films, we have a film which allowing repositioning of the mask on the product.
The step of washing photo-sensitive films is no longer an insurmountable problem in the production of sandblasting stencils. You can use our TriggerJet gun for efficient small production of sandblasting templates.
The TriggerJet is a low-cost, adjustable spray nozzle used in conjunction with a standard garden hose and tap water for low volume photoresist film development. This durable polypropylene nozzle can simulate the equivalent of approximately 150 PSI (10 bar).
